Misty was purchased from Iowa in June and not delivered as promised until November despite prepayment being made to that end. We discovered Misty to be quite different from the promises made. Instead of a 14 year old mare, slightly arthritic, IFT Celtic, we indeed purchased a 20 year old, crippled, emaciated, NOT BRED mare that was so covered in sour barnyard filth that her hair fell off with her first bath. Many baths were needed to remove the stench and make her comfortable. Upon completion of her "spa" treatment she lay down in her fresh deep shavings and didn't get up for three days. We wondered if she even would live.

Although I didn't get the foal I wanted so badly, dreamed of and PAID for...I sleep well at night, so does Misty!

Rocky's is an American Saddlebred, with the body and looks of an Andalusian. To look in his face, you see a mythological unicorn without the horn!  He makes dreams of mystical places, castles and knights come to mind.
Rocky came here as one of the first in our Equicare program, the victim of misunderstandings and neglect.  Now he is a vibrant and healthy stallion and making wonderful foals.  He is homozygous for pinto, all of his foals will be spotted, and he is homozygous for black, he will never sire a chestnut factored foal.  Rocky has a super sweet temperament.  His mare book this year includes some draft mares,  what wonderful spotted thunder babies those will be!   Let Rocky make some
